APPROVED!!!!!!!

Finally got this one approved!! now just have to get the jazz poster, newsletter, and newspaper article approved......and rusty just assigned us two new projects :(.....so there are positives and negatives....but a BIG positive is that WE DONT HAVE CLASS ON MONDAY! :))))

Gets me thinking about summer...

This assignment was to redesign the poster for the summer program at the grand tetons and yellowstone national park! finally using full color!! thanks to my brother ed who provided the awesome pictures of the tetons and yellowstone! My concept was to have people picture themselves going on the trip. however, i have some other concepts that might work even better....something with using the picture on the left and a tagline with reflections.....idk well see.

oh dear lord. i dont even want to talk about this one. i was so lost on where go with this. and i forgot that we could us one spot color and graphics. so i think this just needs to go in the trash and i can start all over. i dont see no hope in here.

Highway 63 newsletter

assignment #4 - AHHH newsletters! Surprisingly this was my favorite so far. i liked the initial layout and most of the elements and i think that it turned out well....however, rusty's good ole red pen bled all over it so im going to have to do some major revamping. still haven't gotten anything approved. :( meh.

JAZZ up the NIGHT!

third assignment and everything already piling up. this assignment was to create a poster for the jazz combo concert here at truman state. So here is my Jazz poster. beautiful right? ha. well at least i have a good concept and that's the most important. lets see if i can jazz this baby up. <see what i did there! haha

Typography all over again!!

Our second assignment was to create a poster for a type company. We were to create a poster promoting a font. I really enjoyed this assignment and i like how it came out. hopefully i can avoid Rusty's dreaded red pen and get it approved!

This assignment was to redesign a MAE poster and web banner. Fairly strict assignment considering we could only use 1 color, 1 typeface, and two pictures that were given to us. Oh and 3 hours. so this is what my creativity came up with. I like me banner the best, and consequently that's the only layout that got approved. Oh well, this is a warm up assignment, right?
